The Year Comes To A Close

It’s New Year’s Eve. Out with the old year, in with the new. Lots of folks will go out and celebrate with friends, old and new. Some will choose to stay in with a movie and popcorn. It doesn’t matter how you choose to end your year. Just do what pleases you and enjoy yourself. Safely, of course.

There a lot of people out there who more than happy to end this year. They have had a tough year. Some have had it more than just tough. I have a dear friend who lives across the pond. She has been battling health issues for months now. She is more than happy to kick this year in the bum and move forward. I am also hoping that the doctors have FINALLY gotten a handle on her problems and will get her back normal. I dislike seeing her so upset, unhappy and worried. I’m sure her family feels the same way I do.

In light this, I put forth to all of you a challenge.

Not matter how awful your year has been, think of the good parts. Just the good parts, not the bad parts. Remember that movie you went and saw with your crazy friends. Remember the night you and your S.O. just cuddled up and watched TV or read together. Remember the peace. Remember the love. Remember the fun.

Don’t allow yourself to get caught up in the hate, the bad, or the wounds of the year. Let those things go. Move yourself forward. Let go of the people or things that keep you from moving forward and making your life what you want it to be. Clean house both physically and emotionally.

And now for the fun part.

Once your take the time to remember the good things, post 4 of them to your Facebook page. Then challenge your friends to do the same. Let’s spread all the positive energy as far as we can!
